the designer
I am a self-taught webdesigner, with 8 years of experience. I first learned HTML through using free hosts (most notably, Lycos' Angelfire), which is when the first version of what would become my constant under-construction pet project, Ambiguous, first came into existence.
I became more serious about web design and bought my first domain in 2004. Then I finally started to design with CSS and divs, and eventually won several awards for my designs. I recently started to design for various small businesses which has allowed me to continue to develop my skills.
the designs
I design to W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) standards, make my designs as accessible to as many I can, make all designs cross-browser compatible (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and Opera - according to W3Schools, 94.9% of internet users use one of these browsers) and cross-resolution (I test them all in 800x600 and 1024x768) and adhere (mostly) to good web design principles.
I never use templates - a website I design for you will be completely from scratch and tailored to fit your needs. I am priced reasonably - it depends on your budget and the scale of the project, among other things, but I do charge for updates. I work mostly for small to medium sized businesses.
